The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown (Corgi Books [paperback] at £6.99).

A book which is the biggest selling hardback ever must have something going for it. It is a murder mystery that raises questions about the very foundations of Christianity.

Despite being a work of fiction it has upset many Christian groups in America. As a certain Rev. L.Garlow said "people are buying into the notion that Jesus is not the son of god" Well, there's a thought!

If you like a good yarn with twists and turns, you will like this book. It will certainly get you reaching for a book with an illustration of Leonardo's "Last Supper" to have another look.

Peter Astwood.

I believe in humanity. We are an incredible species. We're still just a child creature, we're still being nasty to each other. And all children go through those phases. We're growing up, we're moving into adolescence now. When we grow up - man, we're going to be something!
